MSA-MWHO Pharmacy Students Join National Training on Antimicrobial Resistance Stewardship
The Faculty of Pharmacy at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA University) proudly announces that students from the MSA Model World Health Organization (MSA-MWHO) have successfully participated in the Future Fighters Against AMR five-day training, organized by the Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA), the World Health Organization (WHO) Egypt, and ReAct Africa.
The program equipped our senior pharmacy students with knowledge and leadership skills in antimicrobial stewardship, youth advocacy, and action planning. Activities included clinical case reviews, debates, awareness campaign design, and policy engagement.
We extend our sincere appreciation to the distinguished trainers:
- From EDA: Dr. Abeer Elbehairy (General Manager of Pharmacy Practice), Dr. Kholoud El-Naggar (Head of Drug Awareness Administration), and Dr. Shaimaa Nasr (Manager of Rational Drug Use).
- From WHO Egypt: Dr. Yara Khalaf (AMR Officer) and Dr. Heba Aboubakr (Community Engagement Officer).
Congratulations to our MSA-MWHO students for their remarkable participation, reflecting MSA University’s commitment to preparing future leaders in public health and AMR advocacy.
