
Faculty of Computer Science – IMSA Conference 2025
October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA University) proudly hosted the 3rd IEEE International Conference on Intelligent Methods, Systems, and Applications (IMSA 2025) on the 12th and 13th of July, 2025. The event welcomed a distinguished assembly of researchers, academics, students, and industry experts from Egypt and around the world, reinforcing MSA University’s position as a hub for scientific innovation and collaboration.
The conference was honored by the presence of several esteemed national figures, including:
- Prof. Dr. Nawal El Degwi, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees at MSA University
- H.E. Prof. Dr. Hisham El Sherif, Former Minister of Local Development, Founder of the Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) at the Cabinet of Egypt, and Founder of the Information Technology Institute (ITI)
- H.E. Prof. Dr. Ayman Bahaa-Eldin, Deputy Minister of Education and Technical Education for Technical and Vocational Education
The opening ceremony was led by Prof. Dr. Nader El-Bokle, President of MSA University, and Prof. Dr. Ali El-Bastawissy, Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science, both of whom emphasized the significance of the conference in advancing research and technology-driven solutions for real-world challenges.
As part of its strategic partnerships, IMSA 2025 was powered and technically supported by the IEEE Egypt Section. The event welcomed Assoc. Prof. Mohamed Saeed Darweesh, Secretary of IEEE Egypt and Chair of the IEEE Region 8 Young Professionals Committee, reflecting strong ties between MSA University and leading professional bodies in the field.
The conference agenda featured keynote speeches by Dr. Mahmoud Elsisi and Dr. Ahmed Ragab, alongside interactive workshops and seminars including:

Scientific sessions covered a wide array of specialized tracks such as Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, Software Engineering, Human-Computer Interaction, and Bioinformatics. Over dozens of research papers were presented across physical and online sessions, highlighting the hybrid nature of the event and its accessibility to a global academic audience.
