MSA Biotechnology Students Gain Hands-On Experience at Tybah Medical Laboratories
In alignment with its commitment to preparing students for real-world experiences and enhancing their clinical competencies, The Faculty of Biotechnology at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA), in collaboration with Tybah Medical Laboratories, proudly launched a hands-on internship program for Biotechnology students.
As part of the first wave of this unique internship initiative, a group of Biotechnology students was welcomed into various units and branches of Tybah Labs, one of Egypt’s leading medical diagnostic laboratory chains. The internship aims to equip students with essential skills that bridge the gap between academic knowledge and professional application in the healthcare and diagnostics sector.
The training program covered several critical areas, including:
-Familiarization with quality assurance and laboratory accreditation systems
-Application of patient interaction protocols and sample collection precautions
-Practical training in specialized diagnostic units, such as:
- Clinical Biochemistry
- Haematology
- Immunology
- Microbiology
- Molecular Biology
This collaboration reflects MSA’s continuous efforts to offer students exposure to high-standard medical practices and to foster partnerships that support applied scientific learning.
