Faculty of Dentistry Hosts Community Services Awareness Course
As part of its commitment to community engagement and institutional transparency, the Quality Assurance Unit at the Faculty of Dentistry, October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA), recently organized an awareness course highlighting the faculty’s community services. The session was designed to inform and involve both internal and external stakeholders in the university’s ongoing efforts to serve the local community.
The course was attended by faculty staff members and their assistants, alongside representatives from various sectors within the Giza Governorate, including healthcare professionals, orphanages, and special education schools in the 6th of October Governorate.
The event also welcomed Vice Deans for Community Service and Environmental Affairs from the Faculties of Physical Therapy, Nursing, and Engineering across different universities, as well as distinguished professors from the National Research Center. The engagement concluded with a focused small-group meeting with community representatives, allowing for open dialogue, feedback, and future collaboration opportunities.
During this meeting, the community members expressed their comments on the various community activities of the faculty, their feedback and suggestions for developing these activities, and proposed aspects of joint cooperation to enhance community benefit.
