The event was inaugurated by Mrs. Mona Afifi, Head of the Central Quality Assurance and International Partnership Unit, who shared the success story of the programme since its inception in 2004. Mrs. Afifi emphasized the role of the programme as a core element of the university's strategy to enhance international higher education.
The event was graced by the participation of Prof. Noel-Ann Bradshaw, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Science at the University of Greenwich, who congratulated the summer abroad students for benefiting from this remarkable programme, which fosters the development of global citizens.
The ceremony was further honored with welcoming remarks from Prof. Nahed Sobhy, Dean of Engineering, and several senior MSA figures, including Dr. Heba Osman from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Dr. Samia El Sheikh, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Management Sciences, Dr. Abeer Salem, Link Tutor from the Faculty of Mass Communication, Dr. Loai Fahmy from the Faculty of Mass Communication, and Ms. Mariam Mosaad from Student Affairs, who all celebrated this significant achievement.
Alumni of the MSA UK Summer Abroad Programme, Dr. Mohamed Aness (Class of 2008) and Architect Mostafa Salem (Class of 2012), were invited as guests of honor. They shared their personal experiences and discussed the positive impact of joining the programme on their careers.
