The aim of her research is to investigate the impact of combining a virtual environment with a social VRobot as a novel approach to train the social skills of children with high-functioning autism (HFA) through various social scenarios. The results obtained from the developed social skill training programme environment showed significant improvement in the social skills of the trained children. Additionally, the developed environment made it possible to explore the effect of such intervention in Egypt, where no social robot interventions have been conducted before.
