Within the context of the collaborative efforts between the Faculty of Pharmacy at MSA University and Bahya Foundation for Breast Cancer Awareness and Treatment, and recognizing the vital role of pharmacists in the patient's treatment journey and their influential role in the medical system as essential support and reassurance for Bahya's warriors, the Community Service and Environment Development Committee organized a comprehensive awareness campaign on breast cancer on Sunday, December 10, 2023.
The campaign included lectures on clinical pharmacy, training, volunteering, and psychological support. The psychological support team provided awareness on the various support methods offered by the foundation to the warriors and their children.
This aligns with Bahya's continuous commitment, and it's worth mentioning that the campaign opened doors for pharmacy students to volunteer in various areas such as organizing activities, meals, workshops, and psychological support. The event witnessed significant participation from both students and faculty members.
