The conclusion of Hackathon Day

MSA University and the Faculty of Computer Science are thrilled to celebrate the conclusion of the exhilarating "Hackathon Day" challenge and would love to congratulate all the students who participated in this huge event.

 

20 teams from the faculty of CS competed together for more than 24 hours while 12 teams stood for the final deadline and presented their work to a jury of 38 CS staff members and market experts divided on 3 committees judging the projects presented. And finally, the Jury selected five winners from the Hackathon.

 

These talented individuals demonstrated their incredible skills and creativity by working tirelessly on their assigned projects within a 24-hour deadline.

Academic Advising:

 

This track is for teams who want to develop a system that helps students to choose the right courses, plan their schedules, and make the most of their time at university. Some possible solutions could include a system that recommends courses based on a student's interests and academic goals, a system that helps students to create a personalized schedule, or a system that provides students with access to resources, such as tutoring and career counseling.

This track is for teams who want to develop a system that helps universities to track and manage their fleets of vehicles. A possible solution could allow tracking the location and status of vehicles, help to schedule maintenance and repairs, and/or provide insights into how vehicles are being used.
