This was followed by honoring the representatives of the pharmaceutical industry by the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Khairy Abdel Hamid, and Prof. Dr. Hanan El-Laithi, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, as a message of thanks and appreciation for the support and continuous help to serve the educational process. The distinguished presentations of the best research projects were admired and praised by all the attendees in terms of research value, linking the outputs of graduation projects to the requirements of industrial needs, creating new research ideas, aligning them with the sustainable development goals of Egypt’s Vision 2030, and the distinguished and dazzling level of students in presentation skills. At the end of the ceremony, the best project was honored based on the evaluation of the attendees, which is the project submitted by the Department of Pharmacology under the title "Valorization of citrus waste into a medically active pharmaceutical preparation" presented by the students: Adham Adel Abdel Qader, Naira Ayman Muhammad, Nada Omar Mahfouz, and Maryam Rashad, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Shahira Ezzat, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy for Environmental Affairs and Community Service. Certificates of appreciation were presented to the students of this project, in addition to honoring all students participating in the closing ceremony of graduation projects.
