Lebaladna was involved in various successful projects like; rebuilding the slums and old schools, besides distributing blankets to the needy people in that freezing winter, through “Forget About Cold” compaign, as a lot of MSA students gave the kind and benevolent hand for the sake of the under privileged citizens of the villages in addition to distributing clothes and medical appliances to the required hospitals.
The initiative was seeking to entwine the “Lebaladna Foundation “and “We Are All Egyptians” campaign that was first advocated by the artist Mohamed Sobhi who believes in the importance and duty of all citizens including the artists to enlighten the youngsters and give them the lead to elevate and develop their country.
Mohamed Sobhi expressed his concern in “We are All Egyptians” campaign of the lack of communication between himself and young people who didn’t destroy buildings, or vandalizing or ruining the country in any sort. The question here, he asked, what did you give Egypt to expect it to pay back now?
In presence of Professor/ Dr Degwi and during the press conference at MSA, Sobhi mentioned that his forefathers and parents worked strenuously hard to grant and guarantee the welfare of their off springs. He commented that as soon as he graduated from college he didn’t wait for the government to recruit me, he just formed a team with his colleagues and the first production in Arabic was the famous Shakespearean Play, “Hamlet.
Mohamed Sobhi asked about the importance of freedom of speech within the ethical deterioration the Egypt witnessed and suffered from after the revolution. He also added that Egypt is full of well brought up and educated young people who can rebuild the country economically and develop it to the best.
Andalusia civilization was introduces by Muslims and Arabs and flourished the area for 800 prosperous years. But deterioration followed the foreign intervention combined with lust and greed of the rulers then. The French revolution took 50 years of intellectual demonstrations and riots to succeed. Egyptians should give up their negative attitude and selfishness for their country to proceed and develop. He ended up saying that Egyptians have to work hard in order to get paid.
