The honoring came on the sidelines of the Arab Union for Sustainable Development and Environment, in cooperation with the Administrative Development Center, held a symposium on “Combating Drought, which has put the world at the crossroads and confronting its impacts,” under the slogan this year, “Rising from drought together,” within the framework of the United Nations celebrations of the International Day to Combat Desertification and Drought.

Dr. Ashraf Abdel Aziz, Secretary-General of the Union, said that this honor comes to celebrate a prominent figure in the Arab community, a person who does not know what impossible means, drawing her dreams into reality on a solid ground.

After the seminar ended, the hall turned into a demonstration of love for the pioneer of education in the Arab world, Dr. Nawal El-Degwi all participating personalities and scientists praised her achievements in the field of education.
