MSA University project in cooperation with the Ministry of Irrigation and Water Resources

October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA University) in cooperation with the Ministry of Irrigation and Water Resources through the University’s Center for Scientific Excellence and Entrepreneurship and a startup company from the university’s graduates, worked on designing and manufacturing the first Egyptian system for measuring ground and surface water levels and controlling after implementing a number of tests under the supervision of the Monitoring and Communications Sector of the Ministry Water resources and irrigation.

 

The results confirmed the superiority of the Egyptian product over the foreign one. Accordingly, a supply contract was signed between the university and the ministry to supply four systems for water level monitoring and remote control.

 

And at the end of this week, the first Egyptian-made station was installed at the entrance of Ismailia, and the rest of the stations are being installed in several different locations, so that this would be an unprecedented event and a gesture to enter our beloved Egypt in the field of localizing the technology of manufacturing systems and micro-electronic devices to deepen local manufacturing at the hands of our youth.

 

This cooperation between MSA University and the Ministry was signed within the framework of implementing the strategic vision of the university to link scientific research and industry, providing innovative solutions to current challenges, working on the localization of technology and deepening local industrialization to transform from a technology-using country to a producer and exporter country according to Egypt’s 2030 plan.
