Organized by the Community Service and Environmental Development Committee of the Faculty, the awareness session discussed the possibility of pregnancy termination after diagnosis of breast cancer, the systematic staging for pregnancy associated breast cancer, chemotherapy, hormonal therapy and targeted therapy during pregnancy, optimum time of delivery and mother breast feeding during chemotherapy.
It is important to note that this session occurred within the framework of cooperation between the Faculty of Pharmacy and Baheya Foundation for Breast Cancer Awareness and Treatment. Also, within our belief in the effective role of the pharmacist in the patient’s treatment journey and his influential role in the medical system as an important reference for supporting, assisting and reassuring Baheya’s warriors.
