The Faculty of Biotechnology at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA University) conducted a transformative two-day workshop titled "Practical Workshop in ELISA Techniques and Detection of Total Aflatoxin in Animal and Human Feed" at the esteemed Agri Laboratory. 50 students of the Faculty were able to participate despite their hard work and dedicated efforts throughout the semester, and having just completed their exams, our students refused to let their summer break go to waste, showing a dedication that seemed ingrained in their DNA.
This comprehensive workshop provided a perfect blend of theoretical knowledge and hands-on practical training, focused on mastering ELISA techniques for detecting and quantifying total aflatoxin in diverse feed samples. Guided by industry experts, our students applied their theoretical understanding to evaluate food samples for FDA compliance, effectively bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world applications.
This experience not only enriched their understanding of cutting-edge biotechnology tools and methodologies but also equipped them with essential skills for their future careers.
The Faculty of Biotechnology remains committed to providing exceptional educational opportunities, ensuring our students are well-prepared to meet industry standards and challenges with confidence and expertise.
