The variety of topics presented in the Poster Session showed how TEFL students can successfully employ machine learning applications such as Chatbots and Quilbot and others like Quizlet and Duolingo in developing language skills such as pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar & writing difficulties, speaking, summarizing and paraphrasing. The Faculty of Languages proudly celebrates the achievement of the TEFL students whose work revealed not only hard work but also outstanding potentials that meet the challenges of the future of education.
The event was hosted under the auspices of Professor Nawal ElDegwi, and Professor Khayri Abdel Hamid, who expressed sincere appreciation for the students’ innovative and exceptional work. They were joined by Professor Soha Raafat, Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Ahmed Bahaa (Microsoft Regional Director) and TEFL professors Dr. Toqa Alkaras and Prof Asmaa Gheith, in addition to faculty students and staff members.
