MSA University's Physical Therapy Dean Leads the Charge at the "Egyptian Women's Health Summit" Under the Patronage of the Ministry of Interior
October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA) proudly announce that under a special invitation from the Head of the Medical Sector at the Ministry of Interior, the Dean of the Faculty of Physical Therapy Professor Dr. Olfat Diab, participated in the “Egyptian Women's Health Summit”. The event was held at The Marriott Hotel in Zamalek on Saturday and Sunday, September 28th and 29th, under the patronage of the Ministry of Interior.
 
Professor Dr. Olfat Diab presided over the physical therapy session at the summit, where the session addressed the key issues related to women's health. She also delivered an informative lecture titled: "Pioneering Women's Health: AI, Ergonomics, and Biomechanics in Modern Care", focusing on the role of artificial intelligence in enhancing women's healthcare, overcoming environmental barriers, and improving quality of life.
 
The session featured contributions from Major Doctor Shorouk Fawzy, representing the Ministry of Interior’s Police Sector, along with esteemed professors of physical therapy.
 
The summit aimed to address the pressing health issues facing women in Egypt, including chronic diseases such as obesity, cancer, diabetes, osteoporosis, and cardiovascular diseases, as well as maternal health, functional gynecological diseases, reproductive and mental health. The event also explored the role of lifestyle medicine and nutrition, and discussed ways to combat violence against women, raise public health awareness, and leverage innovative approaches like telemedicine and medical tourism. The ultimate goal was to enhance healthcare services and lay the foundation for a brighter future for women's health.
