The annual national competition organized by the EPSF was "Patients Counseling Event" and gathers pharmacy students all over the republic, competing with each other to short list three of the best pharmacy students in the patients counseling field who in turn would represent Egyptian pharmacy students internationally. It aimed at demonstrating the importance of pharmacy counseling skills, increasing awareness of pharmacists as public educators, encouraging and promoting the development of the pharmacy profession. MSA selected four pharmacy students among 40 others who joined the patients counseling competition from 12 faculties of pharmacy and were chosen by the judging committee. They were Sara Hagrass, Ahmed Salama, Remon Mansour, and Ahmed Mostafa.
The competition consisted of a series of role plays where students were challenged by different clinical cases and they were asked to suggest treatment and to convince the patient with it.
MSA pharmacy student Ahmed Salama, an active member in Promise Family, won the second placement to represent Egypt and MSA in" Patient Counseling Competition" in Jordan and Slovenia.
MSA congratulates Ahmed Salama for his genuine achievements.
