The committee was led by Prof. Ayman Abou Hadid, Chairman of the Committee and former Minister of Agriculture, and was joined by Prof. Nazmy Abdel Hamid, Committee Secretary and former Vice President of Ain Shams University; Prof. Saad Nassar, former Governor of Fayoum; Prof. Shawadfi Mansour, Adviser to the Minister of Higher Education for Private Universities; Prof. Ali Hamayel, former President of Damietta University; and Dr. Abeer El Attar, Committee Secretary.
The distinguished visitors were welcomed by Dr. Nawal El-Degwi, Head of the Board of Trustees; Prof. Khairy Abdel Hamid, University President; and Prof. Ahmed Nada, Dean of the Faculty of Nutrition and Food Technology. The tour included a visit to the university’s state-of-the-art labs, lecture halls, and research facilities, all of which impressed the committee members with their advanced equipment and high standards.
Following their review, the committee praised the university’s harmonious integration of science, culture, and innovation, which fosters well-rounded, highly capable graduates prepared to contribute effectively to Egypt’s future. They expressed confidence that the new faculty’s emphasis on academic and practical training will address significant gaps in the job market in Egypt and globally, equipping students with in-demand skills in nutrition and food technology.
