MSA University Celebrates Digital Excellence with Huawei
In a notable collaboration between October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA University) and Huawei, the MSA-STC committee hosted an exciting event to announce the annual Huawei ICT Competition for Digital Transformation, a prestigious challenge for university students across Egypt.
 
The event celebrated the remarkable contributions of MSA's outstanding trainers, including:
  • Dr. Lamia El Fadaly, from the Faculty of Dentistry, who was globally recognized as the Best Trainer at the Huawei ICT competition held in China.
  • Dr. Sarah Nabih, from the Faculty of Arts and Design, who successfully trained 50 design students in artificial intelligence.
  • Engineer Ahmed Hatem, from the Faculty of Engineering (Communications and Electronics), who led training sessions for 100 students in network security.
  • Engineer Nora Shaheen, from the Faculty of Engineering (General Department), who provided AI training to an additional 50 students.
  • Maryam Zaki, a Computer Science student and Huawei Ambassador, who achieved the Silver Medal in the 2024 competition.
 
The event concluded with Huawei awarding certificates to 200 students who completed full scholarships this year, showcasing the commitment to fostering future talents in digital transformation.
 
Representing MSA were Dean Prof. Dr. Nahed Sobhy, Vice Dean Prof. Dr. Yehia El Halwagy, and Dr. Ahmed Fawzi, Huawei Academy Director. They were joined by Engineer Asmaa Serag and Engineer Amani Saeed from Huawei Egypt, highlighting the partnership's significance.
 
This event underscores MSA's commitment to advancing educational initiatives in technology and preparing students for future careers in digital transformation.
