During the festival, which spanned five days, MSA students presented six remarkable films, standing out among the 30 films selected from various Mediterranean countries. Their participation highlighted the caliber of MSA University students, setting them apart among both private and public universities. Under the academic guidance of Dr. Noha Samir and Mr. Loay Fahmy, faculty members of the university, the following films were screened:
"Kham" directed by Omar El Ashqar
"El Sa'er" directed by Hager Yousry
"Maserati" directed by Habiba Hossam
"M7adesh Ye'raf" directed by Donia Ayman
"Rezk Ba’d Nar" directed by Kenzy Mahmoud
"Lagee" directed by Doaa Shaaban.
In a proud moment, the Faculty of Mass Communication was awarded the festival shield, received on behalf of the Dean, Prof. Dr. Amani Fahmy, by Dr. Noha Samir, the Radio and Television Program Coordinator.
Additionally, Doaa Shaaban was honored by the Palestinian Embassy for her film "Lagee," which portrayed the pain and resilience of the Palestinian people through a deeply human lens.
We are incredibly proud of our students for their achievements at the festival, and for continuing to demonstrate their skills and creativity in the world of cinema.
