MSA Students’ Insightful Visit to Al Gioshy Steel

In the framework of the cooperation protocol between October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA) and Al Gioshy Steel 2024, MSA Students Training Committee (MSA-STC) had organized an informative field trip to Al Gioshy Steel Factory!.

This experience allowed our students to gain valuable insights into large-scale steel manufacturing processes and technologies, learn about the company’s growth strategies in a competitive industry, and understand the critical role of quality and efficiency in industrial operations. It was also a great opportunity to network with industry professionals and explore potential career paths.

A special thank you to Dr. Doaa Saeed, our Marketing and BD Manager, for her incredible effort in organizing this trip. Her support and guidance made everything run smoothly, and we appreciate her dedication to enhancing our educational experiences. We’d also like to extend our gratitude to:

- Mr. Ashraf Alakhdar (HR Manager)

- Eng. Mohamed Alfayed (Planning and Purchasing Manager)

- Eng. Bahaa Alfayed (Director of Mechanical Maintenance Department)

- Eng. Mahmoud Dawood (Director of Electrical Maintenance Department)

- Eng. Abdulrahman Ibrahim (Manager of Quality Control in the Lab).

We also thank them for sharing their expertise in logistics, supply chain management, planning and purchasing, electrical maintenance, quality control, and mechanical maintenance as their insights on procurement processes were invaluable to our students.

Our students and faculty left with a wealth of information and a deeper understanding of the industry. This visit was truly enriching, and we are grateful to everyone who made it possible.
