MSA Engineering Graduate Presents Groundbreaking Research at International Space Conference
October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA University) is proud to celebrate the remarkable achievement of Peter Atef Kamel, a 2024 graduate from the Faculty of Engineering. Peter’s innovative research was showcased at the prestigious International Space Conference, organized by the UAE Space Agency at Zayed University in Abu Dhabi.
 
Peter’s research focuses on addressing the critical issue of space debris in Earth's orbit, offering a cutting-edge solution through the integration of AI models. His groundbreaking work leverages computer vision to accurately identify debris locations in orbit. Using advanced laser technology from a ground-based station, Peter’s solution aims to eliminate space debris, contributing to a safer and cleaner space environment.
 
This research not only highlights Peter’s exceptional talent and dedication but also marks a significant step forward in tackling one of the major challenges in modern space exploration.
