Interprofessional Education Center establishment

October University for Modern Sciences and Arts is pleased to announce the establishment of the "Interprofessional Education Center," which aims to enhance communication and collaboration among students from various medical disciplines. This initiative is part of ongoing efforts to promote shared health education, achieve integration and interaction among students of health faculties, and develop their skills to provide better healthcare based on the latest practices and technologies.

The center's educational program includes various activities, workshops, and interactive lectures designed to enhance professional skills and effective communication among students from different medical teams, preparing future professionals to deliver high-quality healthcare.

The Interprofessional Education team has organized three events so far, including introductory sessions on the ethics of interprofessional education and several scientific topics relevant to all participating faculties, such as infection control, drug interactions, and the correct methods of writing medical prescriptions. The most recent event was a competition among interprofessional education teams, each consisting of students from the Faculty of Pharmacy, the Faculty of Dentistry, and the Faculty of Physical Therapy. The competition was based on medical case studies.

This platform is a vital forum for exchanging knowledge and experiences among students from the Faculty of Pharmacy, the Faculty of Dentistry, and the Faculty of Physical Therapy. It is expected to contribute to preparing a new generation of distinguished health professionals who are confident and competent in facing global health challenges.
