Animal feed production is an integral part of any economy, and a healthy supply chain originating from crop production all the way to animal nourishment is a solid indicator of a strong economy.
To take advantage of the rising interest in this field, the "Industrial Projects" course organised a trip to the "Tatweer" Plant, a factory that processes animal feed based in Fayoum.
On Tuesday the 7th of March, 30 students and 2 assisting staff members visited the factory so that students could gain more in-depth knowledge of the field and potentially conjure up an idea that could improve the sector.
We are happy that this trip was well received by the students. This sector is definitely ripe with opportunities and students expressed their interest to pursue research projects that involves animal feed production.
