Under the supervision of Dr. Noha Samir and Mr. Loay Fahmy, the Department of Broadcasting showcased and discussed the graduation projects of fourth-year students over four consecutive days from May 28 to June 1. The projects included 40 documentary films and two short narrative films. This year's judging panels featured prominent directors and film critics such as Mr. Hany Lasheen, writer and film critic Mr. Essam Zakaria, Director. Hala Galal, Director. Hanan Rady, Director. The students' projects addressed issues within Egyptian society, focusing on the concerns, dreams, and aspirations of the youth. They presented their perspectives on societal problems and the importance of national belonging and pride in Egyptian culture and identity. The films included biographies of influential figures such as "My Journey" about Sister Pauline Massouh, "The Journey of Knowledge and Faith" about Dr. Mostafa Mahmoud, "The Biography" about the artist Dr. Taher Abdel Azim, and "Queen of Tunis" about the foreign doctor who settled in Fayoum. The films also tackled issues of marginalized groups with titles like "The Guard" and "The Walker," as well as films on production and entrepreneurship such as "Livelihood after Fire," and students' interests in art and music like the film "Raw."

The department also held a session to discuss the graduation project ideas submitted by Grad 1 students under the supervision of Dr. Riham Salah El-Din and Ms. Shrouk Ashraf. These included 16 ideas related to sustainable development goals, such as a documentary on the TikTok app in Egypt, animal welfare, post-traumatic stress disorder, cultural shock, and women's work in challenging professions like call centres.

The faculty hosted Director/ Hala Galal to discuss the students' presented ideas, many of which have received accolades from various film festivals. Professor Dr. Amani Fahmy, Dean of the faculty, attended some of the presentations and discussed the students' project ideas with them.

The judging panels praised the depth and distinction of the students' ideas and the professional artistic level of the films. Some were selected to participate in upcoming Egyptian festivals, and several students were recruited to work in television channels.
