Faculty of Engineering (CSE-ISE-ECE) graduation projects

October for Modern Science and Arts (MSA University) would like to congratulate the graduates of the Faculty of Engineering for their out-of-the-box ideas and solutions that has a distinctive vision which was displayed in their graduation projects that gained huge interest of scholars and industry experts from various prestigious Egyptian universities and major Egyptian companies.

 

17 projects of the Computer Engineering Department - included 11 projects for GRAD I students and 6 GRAD II projects - were discussed over the past week in the areas of artificial intelligence and machine learning for early detection of lung cancer, smart systems to improve the performance of financial stock exchanges and smart financing systems, prediction and early detection on COVID-19 disease, smart devices and systems to detect terrorist elements through smart monitoring systems, smart systems for student registration and academic advising, smart systems for modern irrigation and rationalization of water use.

 

Additionally, the Electronics and Communications Engineering Department and Industrial Engineering Department, discussed 1 GRAD-II project in the field of improving the production line in a factory for plastic products in the Sixth of October City and 4 applied GRAD-I projects in the current semester (Fall 2021), and these projects discuss the use of various technological methods of modern industrial engineering to increase and improve productivity and reduce production losses and waste in different factories in Alexandria, Sadat Industrial City and 6th of October. The proposed solutions will be implemented in the second semester, and this will benefit financially for these industrial establishments, in addition to a mechanical design project for dissolving moisture condensation in the air to obtain pure water through some additions to devices Adaptation to overcome expected water scarcity.

 

The Electronics and Communications Engineering Department and Industrial Engineering Department discussion committee consisted of:

  • Prof. Ahmed El-Assal - Benha University
  • Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Adly - Cairo University

 

The discussion committees of the three departments consisted of a group of scholars in various fields from the prestigious Egyptian universities and major companies who praised the outstanding level of the students, which was reflected in their graduation projects, and this confirms the mission of the Faculty of Engineering in supporting entrepreneurship, meeting the needs of the labor market and developing university graduates with effective engineering skills rooted in the application of scientific research that contributes to community service, the 2030 development plan for our dear Egypt, and the implementation of the sustainable development goals of the United Nations.
