The visit included an introductory seminar about the company's departments and products. This was then followed by a guided tour in the storage area, production rooms, quality control labs, research and development department and biotechnology lab. The visit offered the students a great opportunity to link what is taught inside the classrooms with the real pharmaceutical world experiences. In addition, it enabled the students to clarify, establish, co-relate and coordinate accurate concepts and interpretations and to make learning more concrete, effective, interesting, inspirational, meaningful and vivid. Pharmacy students' visit to EIPICO was very helpful in completing the triangular process of learning, that is, motivation, clarification and stimulation.
