The campaign, which will continue throughout the first week of November, aims to raise awareness of the importance of reporting suspected side effects, which may sometimes occur after taking medicines or vaccines. This campaign is launched annually at the international level by the Global Center for Drug Control, Uppsala (a collaborating center with the World Health Organization), with the participation of a number of countries in the world and international organizations concerned with the field of pharmacovigilance.

The participation of October University for Modern Sciences and Arts comes within the framework of supporting the educational activities of students and enhancing them with practical experiences, as well as the role that the university plays in serving the community as a whole.
