The Faculty of Management Sciences is always motivating its students to make a difference in the market and to start interacting with real life experiences. Hence, the faculty selected a group of its students to participate under supervision of Prof. Doaa Abdou and TA. Asmaa Hamdy in the CFA Institute Research Challenge with other national and private Egyptian Universities. The students who are participating in the contest are: Shahira Mohamed, Mostafa Mohamed, Ahmed Adel Mohamed and Marwan Nader. The CFA Institute Research Challenge is an annual, global competition that provides university students with hands-on mentoring and intensive training in financial analysis. During this competition, students write a research report on a company assigned to them and present their findings to a panel of investment industry experts and CFA Charter holders. The competition has three levels: Local, Regional, and Global. Winners at the Local level advance to compete against winners within their geographic region at the Regional level. Winning Teams at the Regional level will compete in the global final. It is very interesting to witness young age students participating in such a competition with an anticipation to learn company valuation. Wish them the best of luck in the competition!
