This year, a total of 81 examiners were present to evaluate the students who noted that the students’ performance noticeably improves year by year. Moreover, this semester, the faculty wanted to thank the places and professors that hosted the students for three months during their graduation projects. More than 10 external and internal supervisors were honored for their great efforts with the students throughout the whole project. Additionally, the faculty honored the students’ outstanding successes and achievements. The awarded students included 4 winners of the Science Operation Leader in Egypt (SOLE) Competition, 7 International Publications with an impact factor ranging between 2 to 6; as well 4 Remarkable Alumni. In addition, the faculty acknowledged all participants and attendees that participated in various conferences and scientific competitions throughout the semester.
For the first time, biologically 3D printed ear, liver and heart were printed by students using the 3D printer at MSA University Biotechnology lab under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Gomaa. Moreover, the students presented their graduation projects products prototype made in Scienology lab under the supervision of Dr. Fayez Fouda. These prototypes included burn ointment, burn spray and biodegradable patch for burns.
The research projects presented were multidisciplinary with basic and applied research projects covered various fields such as therapeutics research, crop improvement, and synthesis of nanomaterials. The day was in honor of the late Dr. Osama Saad (Program Leader) who we lost to Covid-19. May His Soul Rest In Peace .
