As a token of appreciation for the great effort and continuous dedication exerted in line with the Egyptian Dates logo competition to create a new logo for the Egyptian Dates. This competition took place as part of the 5th Egypt International Date Palm Festival edition which was held in January 2022 in Siwa, Egypt. Under the auspices of President Abdelfattah Elsisi, organized by the Food export council (FEC) in collaboration with the MSA, IMC, AEC, FAITC and Khalifa International Award for Date Palm and Agricultural Innovation.

40 professional designs were submitted to the committee and was hailed by all honourable esteemed jury members. All designs were completed in a period not exceeding 10 days. As declared by our esteemed jury members, the ideas, inspirations and designs witnessed during the competition reflected a deep talent, academic knowledge, and creativity by the young upcoming designers.

This challenge was almost impossible, but as we and our students always used to work under different pressures, and the first logo for Egyptian dates was chosen to be designed in MSA. The Chosen logo shall be an ambassador for the Egyptian Dates Internationally and will only be used by eligible qualified manufacturers and exporters. Moreover, the logo will be accredited and put on Egypt’s Branding, Social Media Channels and Dates Packaging soon in International Markets.
