
MSA University Participates in the 4th Edition of “Hear and Speak” Forum
October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA) proudly participated in the fourth edition of the national forum “Hear and Speak”, organized by the Al-Azhar Observatory for Combating Extremism. The university was officially represented by Prof. Dr. Olfat Diab, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Therapy, on behalf of Prof. Dr. Khairy Abdel Hamid, President of the University.
The forum witnessed a strong presence from MSA, including several faculty members and a diverse group of students from various faculties, in response to the official invitation to take part in this vital initiative.
The forum focused on critical national and global challenges, aiming to raise awareness and empower youth to become proactive voices in the face of extremism. The core objectives included:
- Strengthening the role of civil society in combating extremism by promoting the impact of voluntary initiatives and community engagement.
- Raising youth awareness about the Palestinian cause by equipping them with historical knowledge and enhancing their use of digital media effectively.
- Combating media disinformation by exposing deceptive practices and fostering critical thinking.
- Promoting values of tolerance and coexistence through the culture of dialogue and mutual understanding.
- Developing actionable recommendations to support both national and international strategies for countering extremism and reinforcing inter-institutional collaboration.
This participation reaffirms MSA’s firm commitment to its social responsibility in promoting dialogue, cultural awareness, and youth empowerment as key pillars in building a peaceful and resilient society.
