The MSA Faculty of Pharmacy offers its students a British-validated pharmacy programme featuring up-to-date courses that span a wide spectrum of pharmaceutical and biotechnological sciences. Our distinguished partner, the University of Greenwich (UK), established in 1890, has a strong international reputation in teaching and research and is widely recognized for excellence in pharmacy, science, and health disciplines.

This collaboration is continuously overseen by British external examiners and governed under the framework of the UK Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) and the Academy of Pharmaceutical Sciences (APS). Through this unique partnership, MSA students receive two degrees upon graduation: an Egyptian certificate accredited by the Egyptian Supreme Council of Universities (ESCU) and a British degree awarded by the University of Greenwich.

The partnership provides MSA students and staff with a range of distinctive advantages:

  • Dual certification recognized nationally and internationally, enhancing global employability and access to postgraduate opportunities.
  • Exposure to modern teaching, learning, and assessment strategies benchmarked against British higher education standards.
  • Opportunities for summer training in the advanced laboratory facilities of the University of Greenwich.
  • Prospects for progression to postgraduate studies at the University of Greenwich, with options for full or partial scholarships and tuition discounts.
  • Continuous staff development, with over 70% of faculty members having completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education (PGCert) from the University of Greenwich and earning Fellowship of Advance HE in the UK.
  • Ongoing quality enhancement through periodic reviews and audits by the University of Greenwich, ensuring that teaching, learning outcomes, and assessment remain fully aligned with British standards.
