The finale of Biotechnology Innovation Competition (BIC)

The Faculty of Biotechnology gladly announces hosting of the Biotechnology Innovation Competition (BIC) Finale on Tuesday 8th of February with special attendance of Major General, Ahmed Mohamed El-Shazly; Director of the Veterinary Services Department. Brigadier General, Mohamed-Ibrahim Shindy; Commander of the Veterinary Hospital of the Armed Forces. Prof. Abdelbary Prince; President of BIC.

 

25 representative students of 9 educational entities will compete in the finale of the competition by presenting their topics in 10 minutes in front of the judgment commission to finally select the first three winners.

 

The winners will be selected by the judgement commission under the presidency of Prof. Ayman Diab; Dean of Faculty of Biotechnology, MSA University.

 

The judgement Committee Members include:-

  • Prof. Tahsin Shoala - MUST University
  • Prof. Hala Adly Hussien - BioMisr Pharma Company
  • Prof. Amany Mukhtar - Ain Shams University
  • Prof. Nadia Hamdy - Ain Shams University
  • Prof. Mohamed Farag - Azhar University
  • Associate Prof. Amira Khatab - Arab Academy for Science and Technology
  • Associate Prof. Abdallah Samy - Ain Shams University

 

The first place winner will be granted 5000 LE and a training opportunity in Biotechnology labs in Veterinary Hospital of the Armed Forces.

 

The second place winner will be granted 2500 LE and a training opportunity in Biotechnology labs in Veterinary Hospital of the Armed Forces.

 

The third place winner will be granted 1000 LE and a training opportunity in Biotechnology labs in Veterinary Hospital of the Armed Forces.

 

The Biotechnology Innovation Competition Finale will be held in the SSB conference hall on the MSA University Campus in 6th of October. There's an open invitation of attendance for all University staff and students.
