Cooperation Protocol Between the Faculty of Mass Communication and Arab Reporters for Investigative Journalism (ARIJ)

.وقّعت أ.د أماني فهمي عميد كلية الإعلام اتفاقية تعاون مع شبكة “أريج” (إعلاميون من أجل صحافة استقصائية عربية)، بمشاركة الأستاذة/ روان الضامن – المديرة العامة للشبكة

:وتضمنت بنود الاتفاقية

إتاحة أكاديمية أريج الإلكترونية مجانًا لأعضاء هيئة التدريس والطلاب –
توفير أكثر من 20 مساقًا تدريبيًا و200 ساعة تعليمية في مجالات الصحافة الاستقصائية، السلامة المهنية، والأمن الرقمي –
دمج مفاهيم وأدوات الصحافة الاستقصائية ضمن المناهج الدراسية باستخدام أدلة أريج المتخصصة –
دعم مهارات صحافة البيانات وتطبيقات الذكاء الاصطناعي في العمل الإعلامي –
تشجيع الطلاب على المشاركة في اللقاءات والفعاليات الدولية لتعزيز فرص التعلم والتمكين المهني –

ويأتي هذا التعاون في إطار حرص الكلية على تطوير العملية التعليمية وفق أحدث المعايير الدولية، بينما أكدت شبكة “أريج” اعتزازها بهذه الشراكة مع جامعة ، لدورها في إعداد كوادر إعلامية قادرة على قيادة المشهد الصحفي في العالم العربي بكفاءة واحترافية

In line with MSA University’s commitment to enhancing investigative journalism skills, promoting a culture of fact-checking, and providing distinguished career and training opportunities for students and graduates,

Prof. Amani Fahmy, Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication, signed a cooperation agreement with the Arab Reporters for Investigative Journalism (ARIJ) Network with the participation of Ms. Rawan El Damen, Director General of ARIJ.

Terms of the Cooperation Agreement:

• Providing free access to the ARIJ Online Academy for faculty members and students
• Offering more than 20 training courses and over 200 learning hours in investigative journalism, professional safety, and digital security
• Integrating investigative journalism concepts and tools into academic curricula using ARIJ’s specialized resources
• Supporting the development of data journalism skills and the application of artificial intelligence in media practices
• Encouraging student participation in international events and forums to enhance learning opportunities and professional empowerment

This collaboration reflects the Faculty’s dedication to advancing its educational process in line with the latest international standards. ARIJ also expressed its pride in partnering with MSA University, recognizing its role in preparing highly qualified media professionals capable of leading the journalism landscape across the Arab world with competence and professionalism.
