The Interior Design Department at the Faculty of Arts and Design – October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA) held its annual Scientific Conference under the theme: “Generation Z Entrepreneurs – Alumni, Students, and Experts.”
In the presence of Professor Tarek Saleh, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Design, and Professor Khaled Hawass, Head of the Department, this inspiring event was attended by a group of distinguished industry leaders and academics who shared their personal experiences, professional challenges, and valuable insights, highlighting its inspiring nature and focus on fostering ambition, innovation, and empowerment among future creative leaders.
This conference is the first in a series of innovative events planned by the College and the Department of Interior Design to enrich the academic experience and nurture talent.
The conference aims to spark ambition, encourage innovation, and empower the next generation of creative leaders by providing a platform for distinguished industry leaders and academics to share their experiences and offer insights into professional challenges and valuable lessons learned. This conference will inspire ambition and encourage innovation among attendees, empowering the next generation of creative leaders in the field of interior design.
Keynote speakers and their contributions:
- Professor Dr. Marwa Mahfouz: Professor of Interior Architecture, Faculty of Fine Arts, Alexandria University, focused on the theoretical foundations of design, current trends in interior architecture, and the importance of research in this field.
- Designer Amr Helmy: CEO of Amr Helmy Designs, focused on his practical experiences and professional challenges he faced as an entrepreneur in the design field. He discussed building a successful design firm, client relationship management, and the creative process in real-world projects.
- Engineer Mustafa Amer: CEO of Mood Partners, highlighted his vision as a CEO, focusing on the business aspects of design, project management, and the role of innovation in this field.
