The Faculty Of Biotechnology Represents MSA at the Leadership Training Event in Helwan
The Faculty Of Biotechnology at October University For Modern Sciences And Arts (MSA) was selected to represent the university at the leadership training event organized by the Institute of Leadership Preparation in Helwan. The event took place with the participation of 45 public, private, and technological universities. Four outstanding students from the college, namely: Habiba Khaled Abdel Razek, Nada Ahmed Helmy, Mohamed Zain El-Din Fathy, and Ammar Yasser Ramadan, participated under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Nashwa Hamido.
The training was part of Egypt’s vision for the new republic, aiming to prepare a generation capable of decision-making. The event was inaugurated by the esteemed Minister of Higher Education, Prof. Dr. Ayman Ashour, in the presence of the Minister’s Advisor and the Institute Director, Dr. Karim Hammam.
The program included various activities, such as physical drills and sports parades designed to boost national spirit, along with awareness lectures and workshops to develop communication and teamwork skills. One of the highlights of the event was the first-ever opening of the “Cultural Leaders Salon,” attended by Minister of Higher Education, Prof. Dr. Ayman Ashour, where a discussion took place between him and the actor Samih Hussein, alongside university youth, on important issues.
The event concluded with a celebration organized by “The Egyptian Family House” for the initiative “It’s Our Home, Let’s Protect It,” with the participation of leaders from Al-Azhar and Egyptian churches. The closing ceremony featured two engaging dialogue sessions: “Youth – Egypt’s Soft Power: Strengthening Identity, Loyalty, and Belonging,” and “Tolerance and Brotherhood – Bridges to Peace and Coexistence.”
This participation marks an important milestone in the leadership journey of our students, and we are proud of their achievements. We look forward to celebrating their dedication and success in this remarkable experience.
