As part of the Faculty of Languages' belief in the role of creative talents, pioneers of literature, art, and culture; the faculty hosted the knight of the Arab theater, the great artist Mohamed Sobhi, where he delivered a lecture entitled: "Art, Culture, and Human Development." The lecture discussed the role of art in the elevation of societies, complementing the educational role in the advancement of both individuals and society. It also emphasized the audience’s role in supporting sophisticated artistic works and the negative impact of social media on family and social values.

The event was attended by Professor Dr. Nawal El Degwi, Chair of the University's Board of Trustees, who welcomed the artist Mohamed Sobhi and praised his significant role in the cultural movement in Egypt, as well as Professor Dr. Khairy Abdel Hamid, the University President, and Professor Dr. Soha Raafat, the Dean of the Faculty of Languages. The meeting was preceded by the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Faculty of Languages and Mohamed Sobhi Theatre for the Arts.

The event witnessed an unprecedented turnout of students and faculty members from the college and university, as well as from the support and administrative staff, all of whom praised the lecture for its importance and its messages supporting the youth, encouraging work, and affirming pride in the Egyptian identity and civilization.
