MSA University Announces a Strategic Partnership to Strengthen Egypt’s Kafala System

October University For Modern Sciences And Arts (MSA) has announced a new strategic partnership with Lebaladna Foundation for Development and Yalla Kafala Foundation, marking a significant step toward supporting and enhancing the Kafala system in Egypt. This initiative aims to raise national awareness on the importance of family-based care and the vital role of both families and society in supporting children deprived of parental care.

The announcement was made in the presence of:
Dr. Nawal El-Degwi, Chair of the University’s Board of Trustees, Prof. Dr. Nader El Bokle The President of MSA
and Eng. Ingy Mansour, General Manager of the Human Resources Department.

The event featured an extensive discussion led by media host Doaa Farouk, who explored the importance of the Kafala system, the challenges faced by families, and the pivotal role students and the wider community can play in promoting a culture of compassion, inclusion, and social responsibility.
The session witnessed notable interaction and strong engagement from attendees and MSA students.

During the event, several key figures supporting the Kafala ecosystem were honored, most notably Rasha Makki, in recognition of her impactful contributions to encouraging families to join the system and promoting societal awareness on responsible family-based care.

MSA announced a series of upcoming joint workshops, community activities, and media campaigns aimed at expanding awareness of Kafala nationwide.

In addition, the Faculty of Mass Communication will encourage students to develop graduation projects focused on Kafala, emphasizing its societal value.

In a pioneering approach, the University also revealed plans to embed Kafala-related content within academic curricula, aiming to cultivate a deeper understanding of community responsibility among students.
