MSA Nutrition and Food Technology Students Gain Industry Insight at Juhayna Juice Factory
As part of the Food Technology Program activities, students from the Faculty of Nutrition and Food Technology at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA) participated in an educational field trip to Juhayna Juice Factory (El Dawlya), one of the leading food manufacturing facilities in Egypt.
During the visit, students were introduced to the full juice production process, from raw material handling to final product packaging. They toured the production lines, learned about quality control and safety procedures, and explored how modern packaging technologies play a vital role in preserving product freshness and ensuring consumer safety.
The field trip provided students with valuable hands-on exposure to industrial operations, reinforcing the connection between theoretical concepts taught in the classroom and their practical applications in the food industry. This experience contributed to enhancing students’ technical skills and deepening their understanding of real-world manufacturing environments.
Such initiatives reflect MSA University’s commitment to experiential learning and to preparing graduates who are well-equipped to meet the evolving needs of the food industry. Through industry-focused field visits, the Faculty of Nutrition and Food Technology continues to support students’ professional development and career readiness.
MSA University extends its appreciation to Juhayna Juice Factory (El Dawlya) for welcoming the students and supporting educational collaboration with the university.
