Faculty of Mass Communication at MSA University Concludes Graduation Projects Festival with Outstanding Success

The Faculty of Mass Communication, Department of Public Relations and Advertising, at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA), recently hosted a Graduation Projects Festival for fourth-year students. The event ran from Saturday, January 18, to Thursday, January 23, showcasing 25 innovative projects under the supervision of Professor Amani Fahmy, Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication.
During the festival, students presented their innovative campaigns addressing the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals in the framework of Egypt’s Vision 2030, with the attendance of a distinguished panel of academics and experts.
The graduation projects tackled a variety of important and innovative issues, including:
A campaign on women entrepreneurship.
A campaign promoting Giza Governorate as a unique tourist destination.
A campaign on domestic and medical tourism.
A campaign raising awareness about workplace burnout.
A campaign raising awareness about preserving the Nile River.
A campaign encouraging Egyptian and eco-friendly products.
A campaign raising awareness about online blackmail against women.
A campaign introducing Generation Z and its characteristics.
A campaign on reusing plastics and reducing plastic waste.
A campaign raising awareness about the dangers of using random, non-medical prescriptions.
The discussion panel included a group of experts in the field of marketing and advertising:
Mr. Amer Magid Mohamed, CEO of Redzee Marketing and Advertising Agency.
Mr. Mahmoud Magid, CEO of Enaho Films.
The festival also witnessed the attendance of distinguished alumni who are now prominent in the job market, including:
Mr. Mostafa Aboul Fotouh, Senior Media Executive at Aleph Advertising Agency.
Mr. Gasser Hesham, Senior Marketing Specialist at Vodafone Egypt.
Ms. Nihal Hafez, Operation Manager at Platinum, Saudi Arabia.
Additionally, a group of academics and faculty members participated in the discussions, including Dr. Omnia Zaazouh, Lecturer in the Department of Public Relations and Advertising, Dr. Nesreen Nader, Lecturer in the department, and Dr. Mariam Amer, Lecturer in the department.
A number of guests who provided support to students during the execution of their projects also attended, including:
Ms. Yousra Abdel Aziz, representative of the Ministry of Environment.
Dr. Sherine Salman from the Small Enterprise Development Agency.
Dr. Randa Galal Abdel Raouf, Head of Heritage Preservation in Giza Governorate.
The submitted projects covered a variety of topics of social and economic importance under the supervision of a distinguished group of faculty members, led by Dr. Hayat Badr, Head of the Department of Public Relations and Advertising, and Dr. Rania Shaaban, Lecturer in the department and Graduation Projects Coordinator, alongside faculty members including Dr. Mounia Mohsen, Dr. Dina Younis, Ms. Sally Saeed, Mr. Islam Nasser, Ms. Nada Bahgat, and Ms. Rana Rashad.
The festival concluded with great success, as the panel members and experts commended the outstanding quality of the projects and the students’ innovative ideas, which reflected their engagement with societal issues and their alignment with contemporary challenges.
