
Mass Communication Students Participated in the Youth Media Industries Exhibition at the Egyptian-European Youth Leadership Summit
As part of the activities of the Egyptian-European Youth Leadership Media Summit, and under the patronage of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, students from the Faculty of Mass Communication at October University For Modern Sciences And Arts (MSA) participated in the third edition of the Youth Creative Media Industries Exhibition, which witnessed wide public attendance and outstanding student participation from various universities.
The exhibition showcased innovative student projects across different media fields, including television and radio programs, documentaries, podcasts, and advertising and marketing campaigns that reflected creativity and responsiveness to market needs. More than 500 students from 56 universities and institutes participated in the event.
Students from the Public Relations and Advertising Department — Yehia Ahmed, Malak Sherif, Mai Hany, and Marwa Mohsen — presented the project “Masry Original” under the supervision of Dr. Hayat Badr and Teaching Assistant Sally Saeed.
Also participating were students Doulaji Samy, Salma Amr, and Zeinab Mohamed, who presented the project “Eh El 3amal”, supervised by Dr. Rania Shaaban and Ms. Rana Rashad.
Students from the Radio and Television Department also stood out:
Hoda Hesham presented the project “Egypt Through a Strange Eye”, under the supervision of Dr. Noha Samir and Mr. Loay Fahmy, while Seif El-Din Hesham participated with the film “Farasha”, supervised by Dr. Reham Salah and Teaching Assistant Mohamed Oweis.
At the conclusion of the exhibition, the participating students were honored by leaders from the Ministry of Youth and Sports. Dr. Khaled Massoud, Head of the Youth Sector and Deputy Minister, delivered a speech on behalf of His Excellency Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, affirming the ministry’s continued support for youth creativity.
The ceremony was also attended by Dr. Iman Abdel Gabar, Undersecretary of the Ministry and Head of the Central Administration for Civic Education, Dr. Mohamed Ghoneim, General Director of Youth Leadership, and Mr. Karim Adel, Director of Media Projects and Spokesperson of the Ministry.
