Isokinetic Workshop at MSA Faculty of Physical Therapy
As part of the Faculty of Physical Therapy at the October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA) continuous efforts to strengthen collaboration protocols with prestigious scientific institutions and professional organizations, and in partnership with Skylife Organization, the Faculty successfully organized an outstanding Workshop on the Basics of Isokinetic.
The workshop was conducted by Prof. Dr. Rafik Radwan, Assistant Professor of Biomechanics at Cairo University, and a leading expert in biomechanics and clinical applications. The event also witnessed the participation of several faculty staff members and senior students, who actively engaged in the workshop’s activities.
During the workshop, participants gained valuable insights as they:
- Explored the biomechanics and operation of the isokinetic machine.
- Learned about its clinical applications in rehabilitation and performance assessment.
- Reviewed the latest research and advancements in isokinetic testing.
- Engaged in practical demonstrations and case-based discussions.
- Enhanced their clinical skills in muscle evaluation and training.
This workshop provided an inspiring and enriching experience for all attendees — bridging science, technology, and hands-on clinical practice, while reinforcing the Faculty’s commitment to excellence in education, research, and community engagement.
