
“Green Hospitals” MSA Highlights the Future of Sustainable Healthcare
In celebration of the Arab Sustainable Development Week, the Faculty of Dentistry, in collaboration with the Faculty of Physical Therapy at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA), organized an inspiring event entitled: “Green Hospitals: The Future of Sustainable Healthcare”.
The event welcomed distinguished speakers from the healthcare and architectural fields.
Dr. Fadi Karam, coordinator at The Egyptians Foundation for Healthcare, delivered an insightful talk on the future of sustainability in the healthcare sector, emphasizing the critical role of green initiatives in shaping the future of medical services.
In addition, Dr. Samar El-Sayed, lecturer in architecture at the International Academy for Engineering and Media Sciences, discussed the importance of sustainable architectural design in modern hospital planning, shedding light on the integration of eco-friendly practices within healthcare infrastructures.
The event witnessed active participation from faculty members and their assistants from both faculties, along with a group of heads of dental centers and health units from Giza Governorate.
Through such initiatives, MSA University reaffirms its commitment to advancing sustainable development goals, raising awareness about environmental responsibility, and integrating real-world challenges into academic activities.
