Fourth Annual Conference of the Food Industries Chamber – “Food of Egypt”

The Faculty of Nutrition and Food Technology at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA) participated in the Fourth Annual Conference of the Food Industries Chamber, held under the theme “Food of Egypt” and titled “A Competitive Industry, A Sustainable Future.”

The conference witnessed high-level participation by distinguished national and international figures, including:

  • H.E. Lieutenant General Kamel El-Wazir, Minister of Transport and Industry and Deputy Prime Minister.
  • H.E. Dr. Sherif Farouk, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade.
  • Dr. Tarek El-Houby, Chairman of the National Food Safety Authority.
  • Dr. Khaled El-Soufi, African President of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).

The conference aimed to highlight the key opportunities and challenges facing the food industry in Egypt, enhance collaboration between the public and private sectors, and support innovation and development efforts that contribute to building a sustainable and competitive industrial future.

Additionally, the event served as an important platform for exchanging expertise and discussing the latest developments and strategic approaches to strengthening the competitiveness of the food sector, while fostering an attractive and sustainable investment environment.
