
Biotechnology Students Explore Industry Excellence at Juhayna Food Industries
As part of its ongoing commitment to strengthening students’ engagement with the industry and enriching academic learning through practical exposure, the Faculty of Biotechnology at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA University) organized an educational field visit within the framework of the Industrial Projects course to Juhayna Food Industries, one of Egypt’s leading companies in high-quality dairy and beverage production, located in 6th of October City.
A group of 26 students, accompanied by two staff members, had the opportunity to tour both the dairy and fermented products facility as well as the beverages manufacturing plant. Throughout the visit, students observed advanced production lines, quality control protocols, and industry-standard safety procedures. This hands-on experience offered valuable insight into large-scale manufacturing processes, innovative technologies, and the rigorous quality standards that characterize the biotechnology-driven food production sector.
This initiative underscores the Faculty’s dedication to bridging academic knowledge with real-world industrial applications, ensuring that students gain practical perspectives that enhance their professional preparedness and future career readiness.
