Program Aims: -
The Clinical Master of Dental Implantology is designed to provide advanced academic knowledge and comprehensive clinical training in the discipline of oral implantology. The program aims to:
- Equip postgraduate students with the scientific foundations and clinical competencies required for the evidence-based diagnosis, treatment planning, surgical placement, and prosthetic rehabilitation of dental implants.
- Develop the capacity to manage a wide range of implant-related cases, from straightforward to complex, through advanced clinical skills, critical thinking, and sound professional judgment.
- Promote a research-oriented approach that enables graduates to critically evaluate current literature, conduct scientific investigations, and contribute to the advancement of implant dentistry.
- Foster adherence to ethical principles, professional standards, and patient safety in all aspects of implant practice, in alignment with national and international guidelines.
- Prepare graduates for leadership roles in clinical practice, higher education, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams, thereby supporting the advancement of oral health care systems at the local, regional, and international levels.

- Clinical, Practical, and Scientific Activities Requirement
- Clinical training, practical skills, and scientific activities represent an essential component of the Clinical Master’s degree.
- Each Department is responsible for developing its training program and specifying the credit hours assigned to each activity.
- A minimum threshold is established for every activity to ensure the achievement of the intended learning outcomes of the various training programs.
- Students are required to document all their training activities in a Logbook, which must be verified and approved by the Head of Department and the Faculty Administration.
- Students are not permitted to sit for examinations until they have completed the minimum required clinical and practical activities.
- Coursework Requirement
- Each Clinical Master’s program includes a defined set of courses with assigned credit hours.
- Students must successfully complete all courses in order to qualify for the Clinical Master’s degree.
- The courses are designed in alignment with the selected external reference standards (benchmarking) of the program.
