
MSA University Interior Design Students Dominate the 51st World Architecture Community Awards with 14 Wins
The World Architecture Community has announced the winners of the 51st World Architecture Community 10+5+X Awards 2025 across the Architecture, Interior Design, and Student categories, including the Interior Design/Student category.
Our students from the Interior Design Department at the Faculty of Arts and Design at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA University), won nine of the ten awards announced in the first round. These awards were selected based on votes from honorary members and winners of previous cycles.
The winners are:
- Mohamed Naged – “Oak Nest” (Improving Family Bonding Through Biophilic Design (Family Community Center), El-Sheikh Zayed, Giza, Egypt.
- Salma Mohsen – “Tide Pulse” – Marine Entertainment Park, Egypt.
- Yomna Samir – “Creating a Healthy Environment for Kindergarten Children Through Interior Design”, Egypt.
- Shrouk Abdullah – “Empowering Egyptian Jewelry Brands Through Innovative Interior Spaces” (Sukkari Jewelry Center, 6th of October City), Egypt.
- Mennatallah Mohamed – “CROSS- GEN” – Community Center to Enhance Generation Communication, Egypt.
- Shrouk Mokhtar – “Udjat Vision”, Saqqara Visitor Center, Giza, Egypt.
- Mennatallah Youssef – “Arab Cultural Center (Bayan): Promoting Arabic Linguistic Identity Through a Cultural Center”, Egypt,
- Yasmine Aboelnaga – “Al-Azhar Community Center” – Strengthening Relationships (Elderly and Youth) Through Biophilic Design for a Community Center, Egypt.
- Mariam Maged – “Gemora” – The Egyptian Heritage Jewelry Center in Cairo through Re-creation Adaptive Reuse (Factory), Egypt.
Five winning projects were also selected in the second phase, through community votes, and were awarded to:
- Mennatallah Mohamed – (CROSS-GEN) Community Center to Promote Intergenerational Connections, Egypt.
- Shrouk Mokhtar – (Udjat Vision) Saqqary Visitor Center, Giza, Egypt.
- Yasmine Aboelnaga – Al-Azhar Community Center – Strengthening Relationships (Elderly and Youth) Through Biophilic Design for a Community Center, Egypt.
- Mariam Maged – (Gemora) – Egyptian Heritage Jewelry Center in Cairo Through Adaptive Reuse (Factory), Egypt.
- Fayrouz Waleed – Kemetica: Developing Craft Spaces to Empower Local Artisans and Promote Local Product Innovation (Handicrafts Center, Dahshur, Egypt).
