
“Your Journey to Pharmacy Practice in Germany” Session
As part of the continuous efforts to expose students to the pharmacy global perspectives, the Faculty of Pharmacy Environmental Development Sector was honoured to host Dr. Ahmed Youssef, the former Head of the Parenteral Unit at Sanofi, Frankfurt, and Head of Manufacturing Science and Technology at Bayer, Germany. He shared valuable insights on the German pharmaceutical landscape, regulatory frameworks, and the competencies required for young pharmacists aiming to pursue a professional journey in Europe.
The session was further enriched by the presence of Dr. Ali Al Meniawy , Prof. Abdel Hamid Marzouk -Prof of German Language Faculty of Alsun – Ain Shams University- and Prof. Morsy Abu Youssef-Former, Cultural counselor of Egypt at Austria- who facilitated an interactive discussion on employability, licensure processes, and strategic career planning for pharmacy graduates.
The event witnessed a wide range of attendees, including faculty of pharmacy members, and students from various academic years, all actively participating in the vibrant discussion. Attendees had the opportunity to ask questions, exchange ideas, and receive practical advice on navigating the challenges and opportunities of working in the international pharmaceutical sector.
The Faculty of Pharmacy at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA) continues to foster global engagement and practical exposure for its students, empowering them to pursue ambitious career paths both locally and abroad.
