MSA University and the University of Bedfordshire Postgraduate Scholarship Programme orchestrating another success story.
October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA), MSA UK Quality Assurance and International Partnerships Unit and the Faculty of Mass Communication, are proud to announce that Mr. Mohammed Awes, Teaching Assistant at the Faculty of Mass Communication, has successfully obtained his Master’s degree with Distinction from our British collaborative partner the University of Bedfordshire, UK.
Awees’s thesis is titled ‘Audience Attitudes Towards the Use of AI Visual Effects in Documentary Films’. His thesis examined how AI technology influences audiences to the point where they may find it difficult to distinguish between reality and synthetically generated content.
MSA University asked Mohammed Awes about his experience, and he responded:
“I wish to express my sincere gratitude to all MSA Members, especially the Faculty of Mass Communication, under the leadership of Dean Prof. Amany Fahmy, for her support during my Master’s studies in the MA program ‘Creative Digital Film Production’ in the United Kingdom. This support was instrumental in my achievement of a Distinction degree for my thesis, titled ‘Audience Attitudes Towards the Use of AI Visual Effects in Documentary Films’. My thesis examined how AI technology influences audiences to the point where they may find it difficult to distinguish between reality and synthetically generated content. The research included analyzing data from 70 individuals from diverse global backgrounds to assess their awareness and conducting interviews with experts to explore the future of AI VFX in official documentaries and its potential use in political propaganda”.
MSA University and the University of Bedfordshire are keen to develop their mutual outstanding Alumni as a part of our successful Postgraduate scholarship profile.
Congratulations Mohammed, wishing you all the best in your career.
